Listening : Whoever sees it as if he is listening, then if he was a merchant resigned from a sale, and if he was a deposed governor, because God Almighty said : ( They are isolated from hearing ). If he sees that he is listening to a person, he wants his cover and scandal to be breached . And whoever sees it as if he hears gossip and follows the best of them, then he will receive good tidings, for the Almighty says : ( So bring good tidings to the servants of those who hear the saying and follow the best of it ). If he sees as if he is hearing and makes himself not hear, then he is lying and getting used to that, for the Almighty says : (He hears the verses of God recited to him, and then insists as arrogant as if he did not hear them, then preached to him a painful torment ).
